Marina Tsvetayeva

Marina Tsvetayeva was a Russian and Soviet poet. Her work is considered among some of the greatest in twentieth-century Russian literature. She lived through and wrote during the Russian Revolution and the Moscow famine that followed it. Exiled for a long time, she eventually returned to the Soviet Union where she continued to write until her tragic suicide in 1941.
