Dorothy West

Dorothy West was an African American novelist and short story writer during the time of the Harlem Renaissance. She is best known for her novel 'The Living Is Easy,' as well as for her work in the literary magazine 'Challenge,' which she founded. West's writing explored the life and struggles of middle-class African Americans.
