Marjorie Agosín

Marjorie Agosín is a Chilean-American poet, writer, and human rights activist. She is known for her advocacy for women's rights and her work on Jewish literature and human rights literature, particularly focusing on memory, human rights, and social justice. Agosín has received numerous awards for her work, including the Gabriela Mistral Medal of Honor for Lifetime Achievement. She is a professor of Spanish at Wellesley College.
