James P. Blaylock

James P. Blaylock is an American author of fantasy and steampunk novels and short stories. He is noted for his distinctive, whimsical style, as well as being one of the pioneers of the steampunk genre. Blaylock's works often feature eccentric characters and fantastical elements within a Victorian setting. He has received several awards for his writing, including the World Fantasy Award and the Philip K. Dick Award.
