Avram Davidson

Avram Davidson was an American author known for his work in science fiction, fantasy, and crime genres. He was born on April 23, 1923, and passed away on May 8, 1993. Davidson's writing was acclaimed for its wit, erudition, and unique style. He won the Hugo Award for his short story 'Or All the Seas with Oysters' and the World Fantasy Award for his novel 'The Enquiries of Doctor Eszterhazy'. His career spanned from the 1950s to the early 1990s, and he served as the editor of 'The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction' from 1962 to 1964.
