Junko Tabei

Junko Tabei was a Japanese mountaineer and author known for being the first woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest, and the first woman to ascend all Seven Summits by climbing the highest peak on every continent. She wrote several books about her experiences and was also an advocate for environmental causes.
