Corneliu Zelea Codreanu

Corneliu Zelea Codreanu was a Romanian political leader and founder of the Iron Guard, a far-right, ultranationalist, and antisemitic organization active throughout the interwar period. Born in 1899, Codreanu's ideology was centered around Romanian nationalism and the rejection of liberal democracy and communism. He was assassinated in 1938 while in custody.
