Jim Holt

Jim Holt is an American author and essayist. He has contributed to The New Yorker, The New York Times Book Review, The New York Review of Books, and Slate. Holt is particularly known for his writings on philosophy, mathematics, and science. He is the author of the book 'Why Does the World Exist?: An Existential Detective Story', which was a National Book Critics Circle Award finalist for general nonfiction.
