Robert Bloch

Robert Bloch was an American author of crime, horror, and science fiction stories and novels. He is best known for his novel 'Psycho', which was adapted into the iconic film of the same name by Alfred Hitchcock. Bloch's work is noted for its blend of psychological insight and suspenseful plotting, and he was a significant contributor to pulp magazines in the mid-20th century. He won numerous awards, including the Hugo Award, and was a member of the prestigious group of writers known as the Lovecraft Circle.
