Roy Fuller

Roy Fuller was an English writer, known mostly for his poetry. He was born on February 11, 1912, in Failsworth, Lancashire, and passed away on September 27, 1991. Fuller was also a novelist and worked as a solicitor. His work often reflects his experiences in the legal profession and his service in the Royal Navy during World War II. He was awarded the Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry in 1962 and served as Professor of Poetry at Oxford from 1968 to 1973.
