G. Willow Wilson

G. Willow Wilson is an American author and comic book writer. She is best known for co-creating the Marvel Comics character Kamala Khan, the first Muslim character to headline her own comic book, under the superhero name Ms. Marvel. Wilson's works often explore themes of religion, identity, and cultural intersections. She has also written the fantasy novel 'Alif the Unseen,' which won the 2013 World Fantasy Award for Best Novel.

    The novel is a historical fantasy set during the reign of the last sultanate in the Iberian Peninsula.
