Blanche Wiesen Cook

Blanche Wiesen Cook is an American historian and author, best known for her biographical work on Eleanor Roosevelt. She has written a multi-volume biography of Roosevelt, which has been acclaimed for its detailed research and insight into the former First Lady's life and influence on American politics and human rights advocacy. Cook is also a distinguished professor of history and women's studies at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
