Joseph Kessel

Joseph Kessel was a French journalist and novelist. Born on February 10, 1898, in Argentina, he later became a member of the Académie française. Kessel's diverse body of work includes 'Belle de Jour', 'Army of Shadows', and 'The Lion', and his adventurous life and travels often influenced his writing. He passed away on July 23, 1979.
