Shaun Whiteside

Shaun Whiteside is a British translator and novelist. He is known for translating a wide range of works from French, German, Italian, and Dutch into English. Among his notable translations are 'The Map and the Territory' by Michel Houellebecq and 'Why We Took the Car' by Wolfgang Herrndorf. Whiteside has also served as the chair of the Translators Association of the Society of Authors in the UK.
