Lord Dunsany

Lord Dunsany, born Edward John Moreton Drax Plunkett, was a prolific Irish writer and dramatist, notable for his work in fantasy literature. He was born on July 24, 1878, and died on October 25, 1957. Recognized as a significant influence on the genre, Dunsany's works include 'The Gods of Pegāna,' 'The King of Elfland's Daughter,' and 'The Charwoman's Shadow.' His writings are characterized by their rich imagination, unique themes, and stylized language. He was also known as the 18th Baron of Dunsany.
