Alexander William Kinglake

Alexander William Kinglake (1809–1891) was an English travel writer and historian. He is best known for his work 'Eothen,' which describes his journey through the Middle East, and for his eight-volume historical account of the Crimean War, titled 'The Invasion of the Crimea.'
