Henry Kingsley

Henry Kingsley (1830–1876) was an English novelist, brother of the better-known Charles Kingsley. He is most famous for his novel 'The Recollections of Geoffry Hamlyn' (1859) which was set in Australia, where Henry Kingsley spent a few years during the gold rush period. His works are noted for their vivid depiction of colonial life and the Australian landscape.
