Ouida

Ouida was the pen name of the English novelist Maria Louise Ramé (1 January 1839 – 25 January 1908). She was a prolific writer who specialized in romance novels and was widely popular in her time. Her work was characterized by a flamboyant storytelling style and often featured themes of luxury, aristocracy, and daring social norms. Some of her notable works include 'Under Two Flags', 'Moths', and 'A Dog of Flanders', the latter of which has been adapted into several films and an anime series.
