Emmeline Pankhurst

Emmeline Pankhurst was a British political activist and leader of the British suffragette movement who helped women win the right to vote. She was born on July 15, 1858, in Manchester and became known for her militant tactics in pursuit of women's suffrage. Pankhurst founded the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU) in 1903, an organization famous for its activism.
