Isabel Miller

Isabel Miller was the pen name of American author Alma Routsong, best known for her lesbian literature. She wrote the historical novel 'Patience and Sarah,' originally self-published under the title 'A Place for Us.' It is considered a classic of lesbian fiction and won the American Library Association's first Gay Book Award in 1971.
