Kurd Laßwitz

Kurd Laßwitz was a German author, scientist, and philosopher, known as the father of German science fiction. He was born on April 20, 1848, in Breslau (now Wrocław, Poland), and died on October 17, 1910. Laßwitz's works often explored philosophical themes and were characterized by their visionary ideas, blending scientific concepts with speculative fiction. His most famous work is 'Auf zwei Planeten' (On Two Planets), published in 1897, which depicted a utopian society on Mars and its interactions with Earth.
