James Tiptree Jr.

James Tiptree Jr. was the pen name of Alice Bradley Sheldon, an American science fiction author. She was known for her exploration of gender and psychology in her work and for her influence on the feminist movement in science fiction during the 1970s. Despite being a woman, she wrote under a male pseudonym, a fact that was not publicly known until later in her career.
