Ezra F. Vogel

Ezra F. Vogel was an American sociologist and sinologist. He was the Henry Ford II Professor of the Social Sciences Emeritus at Harvard University. Vogel specialized in East Asian studies, particularly China and Japan. He is best known for his works on modern China, including 'Deng Xiaoping and the Transformation of China', a comprehensive biography of Deng Xiaoping, detailing the monumental economic reforms Deng implemented, which have led to China's rise as a major world power.
