George Edward Moore

George Edward Moore, commonly known as G. E. Moore, was an influential English philosopher born on November 4, 1873, and died on October 24, 1958. He was a key figure in the analytic philosophy movement and is best known for his defense of ethical non-naturalism, his emphasis on common sense in philosophical method, and his meticulous approach to philosophical analysis. His works, including 'Principia Ethica' and 'Ethics', have had a lasting impact on 20th-century philosophy.
