L. Frank Baum

L. Frank Baum was an American author chiefly known for his children's books, particularly The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and its sequels. He wrote numerous fantasy novels under his own name, as well as various pseudonyms, and was a pioneer in the fantasy genre. Baum's works have been adapted into many films, plays, and musicals, and continue to be popular with readers of all ages.
