Thomas Sigismund Stribling

Thomas Sigismund Stribling (1881–1965) was an American author and lawyer best known for his Southern literature. He won the Pulitzer Prize for the Novel in 1933 for his book 'The Store', which is the second novel in his trilogy that examines the economic and social changes in the South following the Civil War. His works often dealt with the complexities of Southern society and the effects of modernization on traditional culture.
