Samantha Power

Samantha Power is an American author, academic, and diplomat who served as the 28th United States Ambassador to the United Nations from 2013 to 2017. She is known for her work on human rights and genocide, as well as her Pulitzer Prize-winning book 'A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide.' Power has also served on the National Security Council as Special Assistant to President Barack Obama and Senior Director for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights.
