Robert V. Remini

Robert V. Remini (1921–2013) was an American historian and a professor emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He was a noted biographer of Andrew Jackson and other figures of early American history. Remini was widely recognized for his scholarship on Jacksonian America and served as the Historian of the United States House of Representatives from 2005 to 2010.
