Richard Ben Cramer

Richard Ben Cramer (June 12, 1950 – January 7, 2013) was an American journalist and writer. He won a Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting in 1979 for his coverage of the Middle East. Cramer was also known for his in-depth profiles and his book 'What It Takes: The Way to the White House', which provided a detailed account of the 1988 presidential race. His work is celebrated for its insight into the political process and the personalities of political figures.
