Simone Beck

Simone Beck, often known as Simca, was a French cookbook author and cooking teacher who is most famous for her collaboration with Julia Child on the cookbook 'Mastering the Art of French Cooking.' She was born in 1904 and played a significant role in introducing French cuisine to the American public. Beck continued to write and teach cooking throughout her life, contributing greatly to the culinary world until her passing in 1991.
