Jonathan Littell

Jonathan Littell is an American author, born on October 10, 1967. He is best known for his novel 'The Kindly Ones' ('Les Bienveillantes'), which won two major French awards, the Prix Goncourt and the Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française, in 2006. The book is a fictional memoir of an SS officer during World War II. Littell has also worked for humanitarian organizations and has written other works, including reports and essays.
