Samuel Flagg Bemis
Samuel Flagg Bemis was an American historian and biographer. He was a leading authority on American diplomatic history and won the Pulitzer Prize for History twice, for his books 'The Diplomacy of the American Revolution' and 'John Quincy Adams and the Foundations of American Foreign Policy'. Bemis was also a professor at Yale University and served as the president of the American Historical Association.
