Charles McLean Andrews

Charles McLean Andrews (1863–1943) was an American historian and one of the leading experts on American colonial history. He is particularly known for his extensive work on the American Revolution and the colonial period of American history. Andrews was a professor at Johns Hopkins University and later at Yale University. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for History for his book 'The Colonial Period of American History'. His scholarship helped define the field of American colonial history and influenced generations of historians.
