Carl Sandburg
Carl Sandburg was an American poet, writer, and editor who won three Pulitzer Prizes: two for his poetry and one for his biography of Abraham Lincoln. He is best known for his poetry on American themes, his six-volume biography of Lincoln, and his collections of folk songs.
