Constance McLaughlin Green

Constance McLaughlin Green (1897 – 1975) was an American historian who won the Pulitzer Prize for History in 1963 for her book 'Washington, Village and Capital, 1800-1878'. She was known for her works on the history of American cities, and she played a significant role in the field of urban history. Green also served as the official historian of the city of Washington, D.C. for many years.
