William Cabell Bruce

William Cabell Bruce (March 12, 1860 – May 9, 1946) was an American politician, author, and lawyer. He served as a U.S. Senator from Maryland from 1923 to 1929. Bruce was also known for his literary work, including his biography of President James Madison, for which he won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography in 1924.
