Jay McInerney

Jay McInerney is an American author best known for his novel 'Bright Lights, Big City,' which was published in 1984. The novel was unique for its second-person narrative and captured the zeitgeist of the 1980s, particularly the fast-paced, hedonistic lifestyle of young Manhattanites.
