Paul Harding

Paul Harding is an American author and musician, best known for his debut novel 'Tinkers', which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2010. Harding was born on December 7, 1967, and before becoming a novelist, he was a drummer for the band Cold Water Flat. After leaving the music industry, he earned his MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and has taught writing at Harvard University and the University of Iowa. In addition to 'Tinkers', Harding has written other works, including the novel 'Enon'. His writing is known for its lyrical prose and exploration of themes such as family, memory, and mortality.
