Manning Marable

Manning Marable was an influential American historian, author, and professor known for his work on African-American history, civil rights, and social justice. He was a professor of public affairs, history, and African-American Studies at Columbia University. Marable authored several books, including 'How Capitalism Underdeveloped Black America' and 'Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention', the latter of which won the Pulitzer Prize for History posthumously in 2012.
