Archimedes

Archimedes of Syracuse was an ancient Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor, and astronomer. He is considered one of the greatest mathematicians of all time and is known for his contributions to the fields of geometry, calculus, and mechanics. Among his most famous works are the principle of the lever, the Archimedes' screw, and formulas for the volume and surface area of a sphere. He is also well known for his exclamation 'Eureka!' upon discovering the principle of buoyancy while taking a bath.
