Monica Ali

Monica Ali is a British author of Bangladeshi descent, best known for her debut novel 'Brick Lane' which was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize. She has since written several other novels and has been recognized as one of Granta's 'Best of Young British Novelists'. Her work often explores themes of cultural identity and the immigrant experience.
