Arnold Zweig

Arnold Zweig (1887–1968) was a German writer and a prominent pacifist. He is best known for his six-part series of novels on World War I, including 'The Case of Sergeant Grischa' and his extensive work on anti-war themes. Zweig was a contemporary and correspondent of Sigmund Freud and a friend of Albert Einstein. His works often explored the psychological impact of war and anti-Semitism.
