Esther Freud

Esther Freud is a British author, born on May 2, 1963. She is best known for her novel 'Hideous Kinky', which was later adapted into a film starring Kate Winslet. Freud is also recognized for her other works such as 'Peerless Flats' and 'Mr Mac and Me'. She is the daughter of painter Lucian Freud and the great-granddaughter of psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud.
