Fritz Leiber

Fritz Leiber was an American writer of fantasy, horror, and science fiction. He is best known for his sword and sorcery series featuring the characters Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser. Leiber coined the term 'sword and sorcery' and was regarded as one of the fathers of modern fantasy in the same league as Robert E. Howard and Michael Moorcock. He was also a skilled chess player and a theater actor. Throughout his career, he won multiple Hugo, Nebula, and World Fantasy Awards for his work.
