Christopher Hitchens

Christopher Hitchens was a British-American author, columnist, essayist, orator, journalist, and social critic. He was known for his sharp wit, contrarian positions, and prolific writing, contributing to publications such as 'The Nation', 'Vanity Fair', and 'Slate'. Hitchens authored several books, including 'God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything' and 'Hitch-22: A Memoir'. He was a prominent critic of religion and a staunch advocate of secularism and free speech. Hitchens passed away in December 2011.
