Michelle Alexander

Michelle Alexander is an American writer, civil rights advocate, and visiting professor at Union Theological Seminary. She is best known for her book 'The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness', which discusses race-related issues specific to African-American males and mass incarceration in the United States.
