Cornell Woolrich

Cornell Woolrich was an American novelist and short story writer, widely regarded as one of the most influential crime fiction authors of the 20th century. He sometimes wrote under the pseudonyms William Irish and George Hopley. His writing is characterized by its noir sensibilities, intricate plots, and psychological depth. Woolrich's work includes the story 'Rear Window', which was adapted into a classic film by Alfred Hitchcock.
