Mignon G. Eberhart

Mignon G. Eberhart was an American author of mystery novels. She is best known for her series of detective novels featuring nurse Sarah Keate, which are considered precursors to the 'had-I-but-known' school of mystery writing. Eberhart's writing was noted for its richly woven plots and strong female protagonists. Over her career, she published nearly 60 novels and numerous short stories, earning the nickname 'America's Agatha Christie'.
