Sujata Massey

Sujata Massey is an award-winning British-American author known for her mystery and historical fiction novels. She is best known for her Rei Shimura mystery series, featuring a Japanese-American antiques dealer and amateur sleuth. Massey has also written the Daughters of Bengal series, which includes 'The Sleeping Dictionary' and 'The Widows of Malabar Hill,' the latter featuring Perveen Mistry, one of the first female lawyers in 1920s India.
