Curial e Güelfa by Anonymous
Curial e Güelfa is an Italian "humanistic chivalry" novel written in Valencian or Western Catalan 1 and with many Italianisms. 2 It was probably written between the courts of Milan and Naples by the Toledan Íñigo Dávalos (1414-1484), a knight of arms and letters educated at the Valencian court of Alfonso V el Magnánimo and, later, ambassador of the Crown of Aragon in Milan and great Camerlengo in Naples.
